Spain : Mallorca (2020)

The Mediterranean island of Mallorca is now well-known as a sport climbing destination and it has also established itself as the home of Europe’s best deep water soloing. The main guidebook to the climbing on the island for the last 24 years has been published by Rockfax. The latest edition was published in 2025.

The possibilities for winter sport climbing on Mallorca first came to prominence in the late 1980s, whilst deep water soloing really took off in the late 1990s. The first Rockfax publication was in February 1995 and covered 12 sport crags across the island. This book is the eighth Rockfax publication and covers 34 sport crags and 16 DWS crags making 50 in total.
