TREMADOG (PANT IFAN)

Pant Ifan is one of the best crags at Tremadog, but the slightly longer and steeper walk-in puts many off hence much of it is usually quieter than Bwylch y Moch. The quality of the climbing though is easily on a par with the best on offer at Tremadog, with routes like Poor Man's Peuterey, Fingerlicker, Vulcan and the aretes of Cardiac, Silly and Scratch, you have climbs to rival many crags in the country. There are three main areas of cliff; the Upper Tier, which is always popular with groups; the Scratch Area, which gets most of the attention; and the Strangeways and Hogmanay Buttresses, which are again much quieter.
