Porto Pi is a small venue near the shipyards in Palma and is a convenient location for some activity on the last day whilst waiting for your flight back. There are only a few routes, with grades stretching from 6a to 8b+. The crag is not too high, 12m or so, and is popular with city workers wanting some after-work soloing action. Porto Pi plays a historical role in the development of Deep Water Soloing in Mallorca. It was here, back in 1978, that Miquel Riera first began exploring the possibility of bouldering above the water.
