We have added Barden Fell to Yorkshire Gritstone on Rockfax Digital. This beautiful area has a lot of ‘seats’ – Simon’s Seat, Lord’s Seat, Earl’s Seat, and the Hen Stones. It is a magnificent moorland area with expansive views and stunning rock formations. The quality of the gritstone is what strikes most visitors here. It tends to be much lighter grey but very compact rock, often giving surprising ‘chicken-head’ style holds.
In conjunction with this, we have updated and significantly increased, the coverage of Simon’s Seat in the Northern England package on Rockfax Digital, separating out the bouldering but adding many more routes.
