We are producing two new books to Mallorca this April – Mallorca Sport Climbs and Mallorca Deep Water Soloing. The former is an update of the previous Mallorca book originally published in 2016 then updated in 2020. The DWS book is also a significant update of the relevant section of the 2016 book.
Mallorca Deep Water soloing will be a tidy book and quite a bit smaller than your average Rockfax. It covers all the crags on the East Coast of the island as well as a few other venues. The majority of the crags have been re-photographed with a drone to give some amazing new crag photos. We also have some stunning new action photos.
Mallorca Sport Climbs has also been re-photographed with a drone and contains a full new set of action photographs. Access problems have meant a few changes to some older crags, and we have managed to add several completely new crags.
Both books are in the final production stages and should be available in April. The content on Rockfax Digital will be updated at the same time as the books are published and available for free to subscribers.
