Sierra de Gredos – now on Rockfax Digital

The Sierra de Gredos is a contender for the best mountain trad area you probably haven’t heard of. It is located in the Castile-León region in central Spain, to the west of Madrid. The landscape is characterised by granite spires and peaks in a glaciated landscape. For climbers the attraction is long multi-pitch routes on superb quality rock. It is mostly trad climbing but often with bolted-belays allowing for abseil descents.
