The last edition of this guidebook from 2006 had an extensive
graded list of 343 routes which was added to from the Rockfax
web site to create a list known as the 'ROCKFAX Eastern Grit: Top
500'. This has become one of the most popular Ticklists on UKC
Logbooks with over 300 subscribers yet no-one has yet completed it,
although some are very close.
This new list below contains a full 500 routes this time. These have
been assembled from the votes on UKClimbing which numbered
over 200,000 separate grade votes at the time of writing. Every route
in this list has had over 30 votes and most have had many more.
This might make it very accurate, however you may disagree. What
we do know is that it will be a while before anyone ticks all these!
