I looked at that tent on Saturday morning, and tried figuring out if someone had stashed it mid-journey to save weight, or it had somehow fallen out of their pack, or it was pre-stashed to support an overnight camp. It was sort of hidden, but close to the track... and with rainwater in the top [I opened it], it had been out overnight.
At the end of the day, I figured it was safest to leave it in case someone had it as part of their plan. [but why didn't they leave a note in it??]
Odd to see it posted here then! And that there was someone with more sense than me to help re-unite it with its owner.
