DENT D'ORLU

A superb incisor of a mountain with a 2222m summit and great (and long) routes on its southern and eastern flanks. In the high season the routes here are quite popular; you probably won't be alone if you pick a sunny summer weekend for your ascent. The local guide lists 50 routes across the grade spectrum, with a healthy mixture of trad and bolted routes. We have included a selection of the most popular of these, inevitably concentrating on the better-equipped and higher quality routes.
