CLOGWYN Y GROCHAN

Clogwyn y Grochan is characterised by steep walls, cracks and grooves, and routes which tend to pack quite a punch for their grade. It is not uncommon to have a hard time here on your first visit, especially if you do battle with the steep cracks and corners of the central wall around Brant Direct. However, if you drop your grade a bit and take a route or two to get used to the place, then you will enjoy some brilliant climbs especially in the mid-grade VS to E2 range.
