Yew Cogar is a superb little crag nestled at the foot of a deep and impressive valley approximately 2.5km south west of Arncliffe in upper Littondale. The crag reaches a height of 25m and is overhanging for the whole of its 100m length. The rock is of exceptional quality, especially in the right-hand section which is characterised by some amazing tufa formations. Just under half of the routes can be considered as being true clip-ups so remember to bring your rack.
