Windy

The lower gorge constricts to a narrowing that is dominated by the leaning prow of Deliverance, overhanging the lower waterfall and providing a magnificent venue for one of Yorkshire's most famous adventure climbs. Further right the wall is dominated by a huge roof. The Deliverance Buttress only catches a tiny sliver of sun and is very slow to dry. It is also even more exposed to the wind than other areas of the gorge being situated at the narrowest part.
