Adjacent Routes A superb combination of pitches in a magnificent position with great views down the Siurana Valley. 1) 5+. From the belay bolt on the ledge climb leftwards up the large flake to clip the first bolt. Continue upwards on superb crinkly rock. After the fifth bolt, trend leftwards to the shared belay at the left side of the cave/depression. 2) 5+. Move left from the belay and follow a slight weakness up the impressive and exposed wall above to the lower-off. USER COMMENTS
1st pitch is good and 'on grade' but the second is harder than 5+ more like 6a and not that good.
Good route - could be done in one with a 70M rope and yes the moves from the belay are worth 6A (at least)
Did it OK in one with 70m rope. Thought p2 more like 6a+ and not well bolted
Superb position, a must do route. Did it in 2 pitches, would agree the second pitch is not as good but happy with 5+ (6a in the Peak!) |
